Have a nice going to a new life to Rasyid :)

We were attending Rasyid's (Cyb3rh3b) weeding in cilegon. what a tiring trip to go there. and what a prodigal car. It really wasting gas. the acceleration was so good for a van car, but it spend much money on gas. so we were really loss on it.

actually, the trip was not bad. we met some people that missed. our seniors, although there still some of them couldn't go too. that was my first trip to Banten after several years I haven't gone there. I think I went there when I was a kid.

we hardly could find the building that was being used for the wedding. we didn't have the address of the building. just Rasyid's house. so we went there, and ask people there where was the wedding was held. damned... the building was on the road we have passed before. so we turned back. and, the trip was full of miss directions. we went here and there and so long we could find the place we wanted to go. but finally we could reach them.. :P

but the fun was we went to Anyer beach after had some lunch at the wedding. the view at the beach so beautiful, even though it wasn't the most beautiful place there. I also haven't been gone to beach after years, cause I stay in Bandung. we had a little enjoyable moment there playing on the beach and the water of sea. (actually I wanted to bring some sand from there :)).

Well, the most suffering way was on the way to home. The gas was about to drain, also our money... :( so we tried to save the gas by switching the AC off. by the needle was pointing to the zero, Iqbal was so worried that the car was gonna stop helpless meanwhile we were on the highway to Bandung. but actually I believed that the gas was still enough to reach Buah Batu (even thought I still had a little worry :P) so finally we went out from Pasteur finding a gas station there, when we find it on the left side, we missed it, so we have to fall back a little.

That was it, a tiring trip to Banten, Cilegon, and Anyer. Alhamdulillah we reached Bandung in safe again. I hope we can have a trip and moment like that again in some other time... :)

DZ

I called DZ, I'v been missing her. I don't know, I think there's something when I had a feeling that I wanted to call her. My feeling was right, when we had a many chats and talks, we arrive at a talk about her birthday, you know... It's tomorrow, means 1st July. woww.. that's why I felt strange.

We talk much, about erk until eyeglasses. so many so I can't remember again. It was quite long, about almost 2 hours. well, that was really cheap using esia. I planned to buy some gift for her. just a little thing for friendship :) She'll gonna go to jkt tomorrow, having a job recruiting test there. I hope she will get any job she wants and suits her.

Well, I wanna say again: Happy Birthday to you again, DZ. Have nice day and good luck. Hope the best come to you... hope we 3 can gather again later, soon... ;)

Progress

A long time of idle and searching for task was boring. I don't know, I haven't done the typing. but fortunately I have got the way of the method that I use. the 6over4. thanx to Microsoft that have included the tunneling for ipv6 in Windows XP Pro SP 1. after a long time, I just knew recently. I thought I would use any opensource OS like GNU/Linux or FreeBSD.

Well, I think the time for playing is enough. It's show time. It's the time to act. become active, just don't listen at whoever say that it is musn't be done or can't be done. The most important thing is The Effort, and I believe I CAN DO IT!!!

Posting

As you see, I always tried to post in English, every post of my blog. It was one of the way for me to practice my English. but I found a little difficult to let my creativity out. A little hard to express myself. so I think I'll try to post
in Indonesian too.

Now, the connection speed of each VPN account of my campus has been decreased. I feel so bored with this. we can't feel anything with the speed. It is so slooowww...

These two weeks are the exam week, it feels solitude. the last lecture I had for exam on Monday wasn't the best thing I could do. but I did a quite effort to do it. I hope the result will satisfy me...

Well, now is the vacation time ;)

Feb 9-11 2007

It was my first trip to Palembang. Attending my cousin's marriage. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights time there. Well, may be if I just go by myself I would stay longer. I just have the chance to upload my pictures that we took there... Here they are:

The rain comes everyday this week. every afternoon almost. Actually I've promised that we could go to Plaza Dago (PlaGo). But because of the rain, I went late waiting the rain stop. my friends had gone already. than at 8.00 pm I left riding my Vespa there. We were planning to hang out, cause we've not met our friend Ughie that have gone to Malaysia for work for about 6 months at previous. After from the PlaGo we went to a cafe near St, Boromeus hospital to have some eat. One of my friend, that come with us suggest us to eat at that place. so that guy, whom I didn't know the name, went with his motorcycle.

So there were 2 motorcycles go to the place. The others went by public vehicle (angkot, lah...) The only one who knew the place was just the person who suggested it. I didn't noticed and followed him carefully, so we run in a line. When it was the time to turn right, I got a little confuse was he really to go right or not, cause I haven't known the place. So we run in a line. From the left side of the road I go to the right side. I was running slowly, but suddenly a motorcyle from behind us run in fast speed. It was a drizzly night, so the road was slipping. The motorcycle rider didn't have enough distance to brake when he saw me in front of him. So finally, the motorcycle hit my Vespa... Ouch... I felt a big crash at my back even though I was ok. Both, I mean three of them: the motorcycle, the rider, and the passenger, that was his wife I supposed.

I turn my motorcycle around to the left side. When I did it, I couldn't change my gear. It was stuck.. The rider and passenger of motorcycle who hit me stood up and bring his motorcycle to the side of the road, near me. we just had a little talk that I told him that we should be careful at the slipping road, it was a rainy day. My friends were coming to me to see after the got out of the angkot.

Well, actually I wanted to ask some recompense because when I looked at my engine, the bowl of the gear had been crack--a big crack and the upper side was bent. But when I realized that the passenger was a woman I thought I couldn't do it. I just hope that the man would be aware for next time. When I dismantled the upper side of the gear that I hope the bend that made the gear stuck, both the man and the passenger have left me with my friends.. I actually didn't hope that (damn..)

When I finished dismantled, I can carry my motorcycle by propelling it to the cafe. Fortunately it wasn't a long distance from the main road of Dago. I took a while resting my heart that was beating hardly. While we eating Ughie gave me some souvenirs that he brought from Malaysia. It was nice, a transparent glass with Twin Towers in it, and a pendant for key (it's called gantungan kunci in Indonesia. I don't know the English). Well, it cheered me up for a bit. After we finished eating, I tried to turn my motorcycle on. It took a little strive to turned it on, Alhamdulillah... Thanks God, It was running.

So finally I could go home. I took Ferry to Simpang Dago where he would took angkot from there, and then I went home.. fiuhhh... The night was a beating my heart... I came home in a fully carefully... After I arrived at home, the battery of my cellphone was running out. When I tried to charge it, the charger couldn't work. It broke down (Damn...) another problem when I was about to sleep... ;(

Then I thought... Did all of these things because I've killed the rat at the noon???

Crash again...

Another airplane accident happened again on 7th March 2007. the Garuda Indonesia Airplane got a crash in Adi Sucipto airport In Jogjakarta. It was happened when the plane was just about to landing. Then, without any known things what made this happened.

at least 21 people was dead for this accident, out of 140 passengers on the plane. so many disaster and accident have been a so frequent thing in Indonesia.

the day before an earthquake also occured. I'm really sorry for these disaster.. ;(

Disco Lazy Time

the song I think a little represent my lazyness for posting my blog.. I don't know. my mood is not good for recent time. so I haven't post anything.

but now, I'm back. I know I have to do something seriously, on anything I do.

disasters come again to Indonesia recently, I'm gonna list them. the year of 2007 was opened by AdamAir accident.
- AdamAir airplane aciddent, the passengers still haven't been founded till now
- KM Senopati accident
- floods in Jakarta
- KM Levina accident
- AdamAir crash again at Ir. H. Djuanda airport in Surabaya
- cyclone in Jakarta, perhaps can visit all Indonesia too
- Earthquake in Sumatra Barat. 5.8 in Richter scale
- Landslide in Manggarai, Nusa Tenggara

maybe I haven't mentioned completely. but that was have been too many for two months. we have to contemplate...

My New OS

Hey guys, I've installed a new OS yesterday. The New Solaris 10. wow.. i was very pleasure when I got it last friday. it was the day i came back from Jakarta to Bandung. the day when I left Jakarta, it got flooded all parts of the city ;(

I got the cd originally from Sun Microsystems. they gave the new Solaris 10 DVD for free. there are three DVD that they gave:
1. Solaris OS for x86/64
2. Solaris OS for SPARC architecture
3. Developer Tools DVD

I just curious, wanna feel how's the taste of Solaris. it's all about unix isn't it. I wanted to taste it in my own notebook.

so... it wasn't easy enough to install it. there are few (may be many.. ;)) that I haven't got it. so the installation didn't get smooth, but I just installed it once. 'cause fortunately I didn't have to reinstall it if i got error nor not installed completely. if the installation got error, it would help us to recover any files that needed to be fixed.

I had a "little" difficult for the GRUB. the Solaris only could detected the windows. not my Gentoo. after a little try modifying the menu.lst file, I didn't make it. so I did a little browse to find out. in the middle of browsing seeing any examples of menu.lst file. i just realize that the configuration of the menu.lst file between linux and Solaris are not the same way. so I added the new line to boot my Gentoo. and then... guest what.. it can boot all of my OS now... wooww...

now, this is the list of OS that are installed in my notebook;

1. /dev/hda1 - Mi**os**t Win***s
2. /dev/hda3 - The Solaris 10
3. /dev/hda8 - Gento0 distribution

well, there's one more problem I haven't got the chance to try, is to try boot from the GRUB of my Gento0...

Flooding

The flood has come again. it attacks all part of Jakarta. not even in Jakarta, it also comes to other places in Indonesia, one of them is Jambi.

This disaster is most about human faults. people often just throw trash not in the right place. they throw garbage to the river, the sewage, even in the pool. the Jakarta gov also always did the wrong way. they evicted the people from their houses by the reason of sight irk. than they trade the land to the real estate developers to make buildings, skycrapers. isn't that really a fool thing that they did?

not also that, they also build and build again. it makes jakarta don't has any absorp area again. so if the big flood comes, the town won't be able to hold any water come. then it became the flood.

the jakarta citizens (the riches) bought houses in upper town like bogor, puncak, and the surroundings area that is higher land than jakarta. so they also can't absorb water if the rain come.

so, it's all about human faults. the jakarta gov never learn from their mistakes in the past. they just do and do it again.

we should aware about our neighbor. we should keep it, because the earth is the place where we live. where ever we are.

today is the day when i feel i don't get anything for my study pursuit. the one (the only one of three persons) i met didn't want to sign the check paper.

he said, "let the other(s) first". then I said, "but sir, the other(s) aren't at their places".

so my paper became raw again..;( i'm feeling sad. I should finish this fast and want to go home.. I miss my family at home. and of course.. the "other" family.. :)

well, let's see the situation tomorrow. i hope they will be at their room tomorrow, so I can get them and asking for their signs.. ;)

Ya Allah, please give me strength and hard motivation.. :D

Racing with the time

This week has become a worrying week again for me. lots of things that i want couldn't happen at the exact time. i really wanna go home. i really miss my family, also there's someone that really miss me too...

i'm hopping i can finish all the things that should be finished this week. Would you wish me luck?! :)

Stressing Exam

Wow.. it was the hardest exam i ever pass. so much tasks that i had to do, then i got to gave it at the exam schedule. but the hardest thing is the date time is near one to each other. one day after another.

So... Wooow... again.. :) the hardest week has passed me, even though I don't know when I can get it again.. ;) 'cause every man must have hardest thing in their life..

well, brothers and sisters. for you who haven't notice about this blog. it's has been changed into the new version of blogger. i did not post for a little while, all the things I did before was just moving the posts from my old blog to the new one. I'm preparing the design that comport with my (new) blog. but especially in posting layout. I'm not a good visual designer... ;(

New Books.. :)

I got a new borrowed books after we watched "Hantu Jeruk Purut" in BSM. total of them r 6 books. i always like to read new books, i mean the books i never read before.. :)

i have read one of them, titled "Tuesdays with Morrie". i just finished it this morning. actually it is little boring. a story about someone who got a disease called ALS that attack humans neurotic nets. it is a terrible disease.

the author was a student of the man who got the disease who was a lecturer. in the end of his life, the lecturer's former student at the university, also his friend, has been a long time didn't make a contact to him.untill one night a TV station showed a programme about the lecturer who got the ALS disease. he struggled eventhough he was about to die.

the student, named Mitch, watch the TV programme and suddenly he remembered his promise to the lecturer, that was Morrie.that he would be always in contact. in fact, for more than 20 years he didn't make any contact. he forgot his promise. he was too busy doing his job at a newspaper publisher. he always worked hard because he always think that if he didn't use his life time well he would be sorry.

till at he saw the TV show, then he went to Morrie's house to visit him. actually he felt sorry about it. but when he came to Morrie's house, Morrie welcame him. (according to my memory) he said; "welcome my friend".

Mitch was a student who shared his life story and experiences with Morrie when he was a student in university. they usually met on tuesday, share they life on tuesday, and always do guidance on tuesday for Mitch thesis.

now when the disease really excruciating Morrie, Mitch realized that he had to do an important thing. his "last lecture" with his professor, Morrie. the lecture only has one student, that was Mitch.
the lecture was never given any grade, the subject is about life.

this story is a little sad story, when Morrie was about to die, he shared his knowledge about life to the other, the most important thing is about love, about what we can giving and taking, whatever things happened in our life. one thing i really don't like about this book and story: Morrie was a hebrews. there are few little thing we should not take from this story. but i can't mention it, you should read it first... :)

well, i still got a few books to read, a comic series and a thick novel. i think this gonna be bore to read.. :(

Tiring swimming, difficult time...

Yesterday was the longest time i spent for swimming. till 12pm... that's all because the sun didn't shine too hot. it was cloudy enough. so we finished at 12. actually we could finish later, but i have promised my friend to meet together :P

well.. we again are having a difficult time. one of our member has to be pushed to choose the option that he don't want to choose. i really don't wanna do this, but it has to be done. I must get rid of my feeling about this.

it is right he didn't know anything about the connection between labs. but actually he has to know that the one he chose is under the organization of the other lab. we just want him to concentrate in 1 team. well he already accepted as the member of "the other". so hardly we have to dismiss him from his job
at our's.

hope he and everyone can understand the condition. if not now, maybe later. I'm very sorry of the thing that
i acctually don't wanna do... :(

Rain has come :)

The rain has come the BMG was right. there always rain since sunday. hope the area that got dried can be wet again. the trees grow rapidly.
but the electricity has been bad, there are often blackout almost every day too. may be because of the pipe gas in sidoarjo has blown up. at least 7 people died because of these accident. the impact of this accident is the blackout (i think beside the thunder and the rain too :)).

woooww.. the water has become cold again, eventhough the temperature is still hot :(
that's OK think, not a really big matter.

the one i think is i hope the situation in Indonesia can get better, from the disaster, from the violence of the govs, from the attack of neo imperialism.

Summer in Bandung...

While the sun is on the upper of northern part of the earth, so the northen part of the earth like America and Europe, Northern Asia is enterin the winter now. November has become a hot month in bandung i ever felt. since i came from jakarta the temperature in here has increased gradually. now i can sweat more in a day :P

the BMG (Badan Meteorologi dan Geofisika) said that it is going to be a more little hot. but then in the end of November there will be a big heavy rain.. that means the rainy season will come..

actually it should have been a rainy season... but the global effect has affect the climate so it comes later. i hope the rainy season comes as soon as possible so the dry won't stand any longer.
